Karate Specialty

Karate students who are interested in competition or ancient martial arts weapons are welcome to join this class. We will train according to specific tournament guidelines if we're heading to a competition. When we're not we'll explore the history and methods of traditional martial arts weaponry. Prerequisites: Must be enrolled in at least one Core curriculum class per week. Must have at least one stripe on white belt (hachikyu)

How Do I Sign Up?

First, you need to complete paperwork! There are two ways to do so. We have online registration which you can complete and submit right now. If you prefer to keep things old school, we've got you covered. Just print out the registration form and bring it to our office.

Each participant must turn in a completed waiver and photo release form prior to participating in programming. Program registration is first come, first served. Reservations are not finalized until payment has been received.

Refund only available if MPD cancels class, or participant gives 7 business days notice of inability to attend. Allow two weeks processing for all refunds. Please do not attend if covid symptoms are present. We can make special accomodations for situations and can offer a credit.
