Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests

FOIA requests must be submitted in writing. While a specific form is not required, a Request for Public Records Form is available for convenience. The Metamora Park District provides records in electronic format when available, and printed copies can be requested for those without access to printers or computers.

• Mail or In-Person: Deliver to the Metamora Park District office at 214 E. Partridge, Metamora, IL 61548
• Email: Send requests to director@metamoraparks.org 

• First 50 pages of standard black-and-white copies: Free
• Additional black-and-white copies: $0.25 per page
• Color or oversized copies: Charged at actual reproduction cost
• Checks are to be made payable to: “Metamora Park District”

• Responses will be provided within five business days of receipt.
• Under certain circumstances, an extension of up to five additional business days may apply.
• Requests for commercial purposes must be identified and may take up to 21 business days to process.
